It's 8:30 a.m. and I have already - this morning, in record breaking time - logged in a mammography - better known in this house as a mamme-O-gram.  My mother-in-law (may she rest in peace); she who died while talking to me on the telephone five years back (I kid you not ... she had a massive heart attack), always called 'them' mamme-O-grams.  We never quite knew if she was kidding or just couldn't get the name straight, but it stuck, and I can't help but to think kindly of her whenever I read about, say the word or go for a mammeO!  

I had the first mammeO appointment of the day, which is the best way to manage these things, as it pretty much eliminates waiting, which is one of my bugaboos.  I think of myself as a patient person, but apparently I'm not when waiting in doctor's offices.  Maybe it's even worse for me when the cable company puts me on hold for an unreasonable amount of time.  Just last week, I was on hold for over 45 minutes awaiting a supervisor, who at the end of the call, sent me to yet another supervisor and then yet another.  Scream!!!!

You'd think I have bigger things to worry about or get aggravated over, and I do!  But it seems that I'm able to sort through, compartmentalize and handle the big things.  It's those 'little' things that put me over the edge.

I know for sure that these little things can 'weigh me down,' and you, too, I'm guessing ... and OMG - we sure don't want that to happen!  Do we?  We want to steer clear of the fridge, as well as emotional eating.  How to do that?  Share your feelings!!!
