This event features delicious food from over 20 Bay Area restaurants. Wander through the Aquarium; all exhibits will be open. Enjoy live music and entertainment and shop for specials at the silent auction. The proceeds from this event will benefit education and veterinary programs at The Florida Aquarium. Must be 21 and up to attend. IDs required.

Join us for the members kickoff party celebrating our newest exhibit, Aquariumania, opening Memorial Day weekend. It's a special sneak peek just for you. The exhibit will explore the world of aquariums - the science, art, history, business, fun and fascination of keeping fish in tanks. Walk through the home of an "aquariumaniac" - someone who is crazy about fish and get some ideas on how to create your own home aquarium. Members get in free. Guests of members are $5.
So mark your calendars and get ready to go crazy about fish tanks!

On June 2, 2006, The Florida Aquarium will host its first annual fishing tournament presented by MarineMax. The tournament will be held at the Bayside Marina on Tampa Bay and will be led by local fishing expert and television personality Captain Sergio Atanes. The Fishing Tournament will give the Aquarium an opportunity to promote responsible fishing, education about Bay conservation, and inform the public about seafood sustainability.
The All-Release Fishing Tournament includes an Anglers Kick-off party for all participants and their guests on June 1st at The Florida Aquarium. This will include a Captain’s meeting, dinner, silent auction and goodies for all ages. Anglers will compete in one of three (3) divisions: Corporate, Individual or Youth, with special children’s awards. Each division has six (6) categories for anglers to compete:Master Angler, Snook, Red Fish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and Specled Sea Trout.
