The Florida Aquarium All-Release Fishing Tournament !
June 1-2, 2006
The Florida Aquarium will host its first annual fishing tournament to be held at the Bayside Marina on Tampa Bay. The tournament will include a Angler’s Kick-off party for all participants and their guests on June 1st. This will include a Captain’s meeting, dinner, silent auction and goodies for all ages. The tournament will give the Aquarium an opportunity to promote responsible fishing, education about Bay conservation, and inform the public about seafood sustainability. Anglers will compete in one of three (3) divisions: Corporate, Individual or Youth. Each division has six (6) award categories for anglers to compete: Master Angler, Snook, Red Fish, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Speckled Sea Trout.
All proceeds from the tournament will benefit The Florida Aquarium conservation programs that include sea turtles, otters, sea horses, coral reef conservation and sand tiger spinal cord research.

Join us for the member’s kickoff party celebrating our newest exhibit, Aquariumania, opening Memorial Day weekend. It's a special sneak peek just for you. The exhibit will explore the world of aquariums - the science, art, history, business, fun and fascination of keeping fish in tanks. Walk through the home of an "aquariumaniac" - someone who is crazy about fish and get some ideas on how to create your own home aquarium. Members get in free. Guests of members are $5.
So mark your calendars and get ready to go crazy about fish tanks!

Summer Fun at AquaCamps!
Are you looking for a splashy, slippery, cool, summer camp? AquaCamps are one- and two-week camps filled with animal encounters, fun games, crafts and investigative hands-on activities. Most camps run from 9 AM to 4 PM with FREE extended daycare from 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM. Lunch options are available.

Dolphin, Sunset & Fireworks Cruise
